What it’s like to work together

Women come to this work feeling tired, frustrated, and unsure why their bodies no longer respond the way they used to.

They’ve tried harder, pushed more, and blamed themselves — without results.

These are the voices of women who stopped pushing and learned how to work with their bodies again — finding steadiness, clarity, and trust.

From Women in Midlife

“Working with Amy Medling transformed my relationship with my body and food”

I was about 15 pounds overweight and pre-diabetic when I began. Through Amy’s one-on-one and group coaching, my fasting blood sugar is now the lowest it has been in 15 years, and I have reached and maintained my target weight — even through vacations, the loss of a family pet, and family medical emergencies. I finally feel in partnership with my body and no longer hijacked by cravings.

Before working with Amy, I had tried every diet under the sun. I’ve done hard things — like running a marathon and passing the CPA exam on my first attempt — yet I couldn’t overcome my challenging relationship with food for decades. It began with stress eating while traveling for work and slowly expanded into using food to fill moments of boredom or restlessness.

Amy’s coaching changed everything. She helped me make time-restricted eating my anchor, find a comfortable OMAD rhythm, use the power of delay rather than denial, and apply simple tools like plating that made all the difference.

I cannot recommend Amy more highly. Her coaching has been truly life-changing for me.

“What worked before stopped working — and I finally understood why.”
“I feel very fortunate to have found Amy during a long, intense struggle with perimenopause, which brought a host of issues, including difficulty maintaining my weight. It felt like my body was betraying me — what worked previously was no longer effective, including my prior fasting routine.

Amy worked with me to develop a short- and long-term plan that not only got me back on track, but also changed my outlook and overall approach to fasting and meal planning — one that is sustainable and flexible based on my needs and circumstances.

She is kind, supportive, and collaborative in her guidance, and her coaching goes beyond fasting methods; she is a great listener. She took the time to understand me and where I was on my journey before making recommendations. Amy is a thoughtful, empathetic, knowledgeable coach; I highly recommend her.”

— Molly

“I finally feel like my body and I are on the same team.”
“I used to be so hard on myself — sugar binges, stress eating, inconsistency. Amy helped me understand what was underneath it all and build support instead of shame. My cravings have calmed, my energy is steady, and consistency feels natural now.”

“Working with Amy brought calm and clarity during a difficult season.”

I had a great experience working with Amy as my coach. When I began facing some unexpected health challenges, her steady support and encouragement helped me navigate a very difficult few months.

I deeply appreciated Amy’s calm, caring approach. She met me where I was, without pressure or judgment, and helped me understand what was truly supportive of my health at this stage of my life. By the time we finished working together, I felt clearer, more grounded, and better equipped to care for myself moving forward.

PCOS Legacy Stories

My work originally grew out of supporting women with PCOS. While my practice today focuses on midlife health, these stories reflect the depth, compassion, and long-term impact of this approach.

“Finding PCOS Diva saved my life.”
For years, I felt trapped in my body — exhausted, discouraged, and unsure if things would ever change. Living with PCOS felt like being locked in a dark prison with no clear way out.

Through this work, something shifted. My cycles regulated, my energy returned, and I began to feel like myself again — not just physically, but emotionally. It felt like stepping out into fresh air and sunshine after years of struggle. For the first time, I trusted my body and felt alive again.

— Sarah

“For the first time, I felt like the real me was shining through.”
After years of confusion, weight gain, anxiety, and self-blame, I felt disconnected from my body and unsure how to care for myself. Nothing I tried seemed to last, and I was exhausted by the cycle of hope and disappointment.

This work helped me heal on multiple levels — physically, mentally, and emotionally. I learned how to support my hormones, nourish my body, and relate to myself with compassion instead of criticism. Over time, I felt grounded, confident, and whole again — like the real me had finally returned.

— Melissa

“I stopped seeing myself as broken.”
Living with PCOS had slowly eroded my confidence. I felt like something was wrong with me and that I would always be fighting my body instead of working with it.

Through this journey, I learned that my body wasn’t broken — it was asking for understanding and support. I gained tools that helped me regulate my hormones, care for my health, and move out of shame and into self-compassion. That shift changed not just my health, but how I saw myself and my life.
